Our signature Belly Bliss massage...plus a little more. This session gives your therapist extra time to provide you with a deeper and longer lasting release. 75 minutes of body work to concentrate on the areas where you need it most and reinvigorate tired muscles.
COMFORT MEASURES (90 minutes) $95
The back carries an extra load during pregnancy. Our specialty 90 minute pregnancy massage focuses on unwinding compensation patterns that take place in the body during pregnancy, relieving tension and restoring alignment to back, hips, belly, pelvic floor, and thighs. Summer Comfort also allows extra time for special swelling release, withe results that often last a week or more, even in the hottest weather. Especially beneficial for those with recurring discomfort or pain, persistent low back pain, sciatica, and swelling, as well as all of our 3rd Trimester mamas!
When it’s time to get this party started, pressure points in the body can be stimulated to encourage the natural onset of labor. For 40+ weeks or those facing a medical induction. Book ahead of time whenever possible to insure a timely appointment. The perfect due date treat!
TURN, BABY, TURN (90 minutes) $95
A malpositioned baby can interfere with the best-laid plans. This intensive session utilizes numerous modalities including pressure points, alignment work, body mechanics, relaxation & guided imagery to address baby's position. We will also show you simple exercises to continue at home to encourage your baby to turn. Strongly recommended at 34 weeks or more with a malpositioned baby, or sooner for those with a persistently malpositioned baby or a specific concern about position (i.e. a previous birth complicated by position).
Please do not wait to schedule this session! Although our technique has been successful at 38+ weeks, coming in sooner while there is still more room for baby to turn may increase the likelihood of success. [Note: We DO NOT attempt to turn your baby during this treatment. An external cephalic version can only be performed by an OB after 37 weeks, and as a last resort.]
