Breech Baby Therapies
Babies typically settle into the position they will be in for birth between 32 - 34 weeks of pregnancy. If your baby is breech at 34 weeks (ask!), now is the time to be pro-active in encouraging your baby to turn while there is still room. If your baby has been persistently breech, or if you had a previous breech baby, you may wish to begin even earlier with preventative measures. For more information on breech babies see our FAQ's.
Hypnosis: Research has shown this therapy to be 80% effective in resolving breech presentation. Available exclusively at Baby Moon. Please contact us to schedule.
Bodywork: Our bodywork session incorporates pressure points, body positioning, alignment work, and massage to address baby's position. Schedule online or contact us for additional availability.
Moxibustion: This Chinese Medicine treatment has also been shown to be effective. Completely safe and non-invasive. Available at Artemesia Community Acupuncture.
Chiropractic Care: The Webster Technique can be employed by a chiropractor specially certified in this technique. Webster has been shown to be effective in research. See our referral list.

Physical Therapy
Significant, ongoing pain and discomfort during pregnancy and postpartum is not normal. If you have persistent or severe sciatica or back pain, or things don't feel "quite right" after birth, physical therapy can identify when the body is out of alignment and apply gentle osteopathic treatments to correct it.
